Beach Manager

Beach Manager Salary: $20.1824 per hour Variable Start & End Dates.

Supervised by: Operations Supervisor Supervises: Concession Cashiers, Assistant Beach Manager, Lifeguards Nature of Work: This position is for the total operation of the beach.

Scheduling is generally five days per week, including most weekends.

Examples of Work: * Directly supervises and provides leadership for all beach employees.

* Responsible for Scheduling Beach Employees to meet staff level requirements.

* Oversees and ultimately responsible for facility appearance.

* Responsible for coordination of special events and activities with the programs manager and operations supervisor.

* Provides daily records and responsible for nightly deposits.

* Coordination of all beach activities including public swimming, day camps, rentals and special events.

* Act as lifeguard as necessary.

Requirements: * Must have a demonstrated ability to deal with staff and public in a positive manner.

* Must be able to enforce departmental policies.

* Must complete or have current Red Cross Lifeguarding Certification with Waterfront Add-On.

* Must have at least two years aquatic experience.

* Must be able to keep accurate daily and monthly reports.

* Must be able to plan and supervise activities in and around the beach.

* Must be able to plan and implement continuing in-service training program.

* Must Attend Aquatic staff training.

* Weekend work required.
