Position Overview:
OpSource Staffing is seeking an experienced Saw Operator for a 1st shift direct hire opportunity. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with experience operating industrial band saws and working in a fast-paced production environment with frequent job changeovers.
Major Responsibilities & Essential Functions:
Operate band saws and other cutting equipment
Read and follow blueprints, drawings, specifications, and work orders
Perform accurate cuts and verify dimensions using precision measuring tools
Handle frequent job changeovers in a high-variety production setting
Maintain equipment and ensure proper machine functionality
Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements
Collaborate with production teams to meet daily schedule goals Job Requirements:
Experience operating industrial saws (band saws, panel saws, or similar equipment)
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and dimensional specifications
Strong measurement skills and knowledge of basic shop math
Familiarity with PPE and safety procedures related to cutting operations
Ability to work efficiently with frequent changeovers
Strong work history demonstrating longevity with previous employers Additional Requirements:
