About the Role

A growing manufacturing organization is expanding into the rapidly growing AI infrastructure market and is developing high-performance exhaust systems for AI generator applications. We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer or Senior Draftsman to join the team and support the development of advanced exhaust systems.

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to building and supporting a new division focused on advanced exhaust design, airflow optimization, and backpressure control for generator systems supporting AI data environments.

Position Overview

This is a full-time onsite position in Bunnell, FL. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of hands-on experience in exhaust system design, with strong knowledge of flow dynamics and backpressure applications. The selected professional will play a key role in design, drafting, testing, and production support as the company expands its AI generator exhaust manufacturing capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop exhaust systems for AI-powered generator applications

Perform airflow, backpressure, and thermal performance calculations

Create detailed fabrication drawings and 3D CAD models

Collaborate with fabrication teams to ensure manufacturability

Optimize systems for noise reduction, efficiency, and compliance

Work with clients to meet technical specifications

Review and improve existing exhaust designs for performance and cost efficiency

Qualifications

Minimum 6 years of experience in exhaust system design

Strong understanding of flow dynamics, backpressure, and thermal management

Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks preferred)

Experience with generator exhaust systems strongly preferred

Knowledge of fabrication processes including welding, pipe fitting, and sheet metal

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Full-time
