Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to set up and run various waterjet cutting equipment. Join our team and take part in creating high-quality parts with precision and care.

Responsibilities

Set up and run various waterjet cutting equipment.

Inspect and report for quality control of finished parts.

Detect malfunctions in machine operations such as worn or damaged tooling.

Ensure actual run time is in line with the standards set.

Perform necessary hand operations such as filing and blending to produce quality parts.

Conduct preventative maintenance and repairs of equipment.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Essential Skills

Experience in machine operating, including setup and operation of waterjet equipment.

Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.

Proficiency in using measuring tools like calipers and micrometers.

Skill in CNC operation and offset adjustment.

Effective communication skills.

Basic computer skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Proficiency in metric and imperial conversion.

Experience with inspection processes, lathe, and mill operations.

Strong math skills.

Ability to perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Huntersville, NC.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
