Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Machine Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for loading raw materials into machines, reading blueprints, and performing heavy lifting as part of their daily tasks. This position requires manufacturing experience and the ability to conduct visual inspections during the production process.

Responsibilities

Load raw materials into machines accurately and efficiently.

Read and interpret blueprints to ensure correct machine operation.

Perform heavy lifting as required by the production process.

Conduct visual inspections on parts as they are being cut to ensure quality.

Make necessary adjustments to the machine to maintain optimal performance.

Perform preventative maintenance to ensure machinery is in excellent working condition.

Utilize hand tools and optical inspection techniques as needed.

Essential Skills

Experience with slitter machines and the ability to make accurate visual inspections.

Proven manufacturing experience.

Ability to perform preventative maintenance on machines.

Competence in general production and use of hand tools.

Computer literacy skills to document parts and machine discrepancies.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment.

Ability to start work at 5am.

Work Environment

Our work environment is a fast-paced manufacturing setting where attention to detail and efficiency are key. The position requires an early start time of 5am.Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Torrance, CA.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.
