Role Summary:

The MIE Engineer 3 will complete increasingly complex mechanical, electrical and field construction activities.

This position will be responsible for collecting and assembling data, developing estimates and generating systems and bid analysis.

• Autonomy & Decision-Making: Makes decisions on routine matters, provides recommendations to supervisor and refers all exceptions to supervisor.

• Reviews and approves shop drawings prior to submitting to design team. • Generates and issues the Commissioning Plan for approval to the appropriate parties. • Verifies deficiencies are corrected and submits commissioning documentation to owners. • Creates M/E tools and innovative solutions to continuously improve processes and work products. Education: • Bachelor’s Degree Experience: • 5+ years construction and/or engineering experience (Preferred).

Responsibilities:

• Completes entry level and routine mechanical, electrical and field construction activities.

• Develop budgetary MIE estimates, using automated M/E estimating system.

• Review of mechanical and electrical options and completes systems analysis for select projects.

• Develop the mechanical and electrical scopes of work used to coordinate during the bid process.

• Assists in completion of bid analysis and provides input during the subcontractor selection process.

• Completes increasingly complex mechanical, electrical and field construction activities.

• Develops budgetary M/E estimates, based upon program and schematic design information.

• Reviews mechanical and electrical options recommend best system for the project.

• Coordinates the mechanical and electrical scopes of work during the bid process.

• Develops sequencing requirements to meet the schedule requirements.
