Jr. Mechanical Engineering – Plumbing / Fire Protection

Mechanical – Engineering - HVAC - Plumbing – Fire Protection – AutoCAD
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for creating detailed drawings, developing major layouts, selecting components, creating design, and performing calculations under engineering supervision.
Other responsibilities of the Mechanical Engineer role include:
Working with 3D Modeling Software; Revit MEP, preferred
Applying knowledge of industry accepted drawing standards
Checking your own work and producing high quality output
Working closely with the mechanical engineering staff, project managers, and other discipline engineers, and designers
Interacting with clients
Creating and maintaining plumbing / fire protection CAD / modeling standards
Job Requirements
In the Mechanical Engineer role, you must possess strong organizational and time management skills. We are seeking a strong leader with superb communication abilities. You must be a self-motivated team player who is able to stay organized, multitask, and pay close attention to detail.
Other requirements of the Mechanical Engineer role include:
Bachelor’s degree in an engineering-related field or equivalent experience
At least 4 years of experience in the design of plumbing and fire protection systems for healthcare, commercial, and industrial buildings
CPD/ LEED AP experience, preferred
AutoCAD or MicroStation 3D CAD software experience
Revit / 3D Modeling experience, a plus
MS Windows / Office applications experience
Experience working with peripheral disciplines
Ability to work overtime when required
