This full-time position offers the chance to build, shape, and elevate a thriving plastic surgery service line while guiding patients through life-changing aesthetic and reconstructive transformations — with a strong focus on post-bariatric body contouring.

Position Highlights
This dynamic role offers a diverse and engaging practice environment:
Blend of OR, inpatient, outpatient, and clinic settings
Balanced mix of reconstructive and cosmetic surgery
Comprehensive range of plastic and reconstructive procedures
Strong emphasis on post-bariatric body contouring
Aesthetic procedures including:
Injectables
Laser treatments
Facial plastics (optional)
Skin excisions and reconstructive surgery as indicated
Close collaboration with bariatric specialists
Participation in multidisciplinary case reviews
Initial consultations, detailed treatment planning, and post-operative care
Active involvement in service line development and marketing initiatives
Commitment to delivering safe, empathetic, high-quality patient care

Base salary starting at $400,000

Qualifications
MD or DO degree
Board-certified or board-eligible in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
Active or eligible New York medical license
Fellowship in aesthetics or body contouring preferred
Strong preference for experience with massive weight-loss body contouring
1–2 years post-residency experience preferred
