IR Technologist - Columbus, OH

An opportunity is available for an experienced Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist to provide high-quality imaging support in a dynamic healthcare setting. This position involves working closely with a multidisciplinary team to perform diagnostic and interventional radiologic procedures with precision and care.

Location: Columbus, OH

Responsibilities:

Prepare and operate specialized imaging equipment for interventional radiology procedures

Assist physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic interventions

Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process

Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient records

Adhere to established protocols and regulatory standards

Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to optimize patient outcomes

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent) with additional credentials in Interventional Radiology preferred

Experience operating fluoroscopy and other IR imaging equipment

Strong knowledge of anatomy, radiation safety, and sterile technique

Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Schedule/Hours:

40 hours per week, day shift: 07:00 AM - 5:30 PM

On call every 3rd weekend (approx. 12 shifts within a 6-week cycle)
