A full-time, virtual speech-language pathologist (SLP) position is available to support school-based teletherapy services. This contract role provides an opportunity to deliver virtual therapeutic interventions and collaborate on individualized student education plans within a structured school schedule.
Location: Columbus, GA (virtual work supporting the school district)
Assignment Duration: Immediate start through May 21, 2026
Schedule: 37.5 hours per week (7.5 hours daily, limited to school hours only)
Key responsibilities include:
Scheduling, attending, and actively participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
Preparing documentation such as Review of Data Reports (RDRs), writing IEPs, and timely communication with families, educators, and related service providers
Providing direct teletherapy services to students in need of speech and language support
Supervising Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) as needed to enhance service delivery
Maintaining organized, timely daily logs and paperwork consistent with district requirements to ensure compliance and payroll processing
Qualifications:
Active Speech-Language Pathologist license and Georgia Educator license required
Prior experience supervising SLPAs preferred
Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently to maximize direct therapy services and meet administrative deadlines
Reliable and professional communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues, students, and families
