Job Description:

We Are Seeking a Full-Stack Java Developer to support enterprise application development within a large-scale transportation and infrastructure technology environment. This role focuses on designing, developing, testing, and deploying full-stack Java applications while collaborating within an Agile development team. The developer will work closely with project managers, application owners, and technical team members to deliver high-quality software solutions that support operational programs. The position requires strong problem-solving ability, effective communication skills, and the ability to quickly learn and adapt in a collaborative development environment. The role also involves partnering with UI/UX team members to build modern, responsive user interfaces and enhance user experience.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and deploy full-stack Java applications within an Agile development environment.

• Collaborate with project managers, application owners, and development teams to organize work and deliver software solutions.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

• Design and implement application features using Java, Spring frameworks, and related technologies.

• Develop responsive and user-friendly interfaces in collaboration with UI/UX team members.

• Write, review, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues within complex software systems.

• Work with development tools, frameworks, and databases to support enterprise applications.

• Contribute to testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of applications.

• Communicate technical concepts and progress effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Required Skills:

• Experience developing complex applications using Java and modern development tools such as Eclipse or similar IDEs.

• Experience building front-end interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.

• Experience working with the Spring Framework, including Spring Boot and Spring Data.

• Experience using JPA or Hibernate for data persistence.

• Experience working within an Agile development environment.

• Experience developing responsive web applications using HTML5, CSS, and Data Tables.

• Experience with jQuery and jQuery UI.

• Experience working with Oracle databases (Oracle 12C or 19C).

Preferred Skills

• Experience developing applications using React.js.

• Experience working in the JBoss Enterprise environment.

• Experience writing SQL or PL/SQL queries and database procedures.

• Experience using development and logging tools such as Log4j, JUnit, and Tiles.

• Experience working with reporting tools such as Jasper Reports, Crystal Reports, or Business Objects.

• Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and standards for building intuitive user interfaces.
