LT Consulting is seeking a Backend Web Developer with an active TS/SCI polygraph clearance to design and build secure, high-performance APIs and backend services supporting mission-focused applications. As a Backend Developer, you'll work across the full scope of backend services, developing scalable microservices, managing data persistence layers, and automating integration processes using cloud-native architectures.

Basic Qualifications

Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field

Demonstrated professional experience developing backend systems and APIs

Proficiency with Java and Spring Boot, Node and Express, Python with Flask or Django, or similar backend stacks

Experience designing and building RESTful APIs and integrating with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle)

Familiarity with authentication and authorization standards such as OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect

Experience with build automation tools and dependency management (Gradle, Maven, NPM, or Pip)

Proficiency with Git and modern version control workflows (branching, merging, pull requests)

Experience working in Agile environments using JIRA and Confluence

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field

Experience with AWS cloud services (EC2, RDS, S3, SQS, Lambda, etc.)

Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)

Experience implementing observability and monitoring using Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK stack

Experience optimizing backend performance and implementing caching (Redis, Memcached)
