Your Role and Responsibilities

In this exciting position as a Data Scientist specializing in Artificial Intelligence, you will harness your data analysis skills and business insights to address cognitive computing challenges. You will design and implement AI solutions utilizing cutting-edge technologies, with an emphasis on foundation models and large language models.

Design AI Solutions: Architect and deliver innovative AI solutions using the latest technologies, focusing on foundation models and large language models, and proficiently using tools like Github Copilot and Amazon Code Whisperer.

Develop Cognitive Solutions: Create robust cognitive solutions that analyze structured and unstructured data, leveraging advanced analytics techniques and a thorough understanding of NLP and ML methodologies.

Lead AI Project Lifecycle: Oversee the entire AI project lifecycle, from research and prototyping to successful deployment in production environments.

Collaborate on AI Projects: Partner with diverse stakeholders to tackle complex business challenges using the power of artificial intelligence, applying your programming expertise in Python and familiarity with AI frameworks.

Optimize AI Solutions: Utilize your skills in areas such as NLP, Image Processing, Video Processing, Voice Processing, or Watson technologies to enhance AI solutions and deliver tangible business value.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Advanced Analytics Techniques: Proven experience in advanced analytics techniques for structured data, with a strong proficiency in Python and AI frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, or Hugging Face.

NLP and ML Methods: Comprehensive knowledge of Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Machine Learning (ML) methods for unstructured data, specifically in foundation models and large language models.

AI Solution Development: Demonstrated capability in architecting and delivering AI solutions using the latest technologies and tools.

Cloud Platforms and Services: Familiarity with cloud environments (e.g., Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, GCP) and relational and NoSQL databases (SQL, Postgres, DB2, MongoDB).

Full AI Project Lifecycle: Experience managing every phase of the AI project lifecycle, from initial research to production deployment.

Must possess TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Poly.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

Specialized Areas: Practical experience in areas like NLP, Image Processing, Video Processing, Voice Processing, or Watson technologies to optimize AI solutions.

Modern UI Frameworks: Familiarity with modern UI frameworks such as Backbone.js, AngularJS, React.js, Ember.js, Bootstrap, and JQuery for seamless AI integration.

Operating System Knowledge: Experience working with various operating systems, including Linux, Windows, iOS, and Android, ensuring smooth deployment across diverse environments.
