IMMEDIATELY INTERVIEWING!

Seeking experienced Machine Operators for this manufacturing company located in the Bucks County area. The Machine Operators responsibiltiies include operating machines, using various hand tools and precision measuring devices (micrometers, calipers, comparators, gages, hand tools), checking the machine oil-levels, and reading blueprints. Prior expereince working in a manufacturing environment, having a good mechanical aptitide, operating manufacturing or production machines, and proficiency using micrometers, calipers, comparators, gages, and hand tools will be required to be considered for this role. This is a LONG TERM and FULL TIME job opportunity, offering WEEKLY PAY, and does offer benefits.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate cold heading and thread rolling machines with guidance from trainers or mentors.

Follow detailed engineering drawings, process control documents, and work instructions to produce quality parts.

Utilize precision measuring devices such as micrometers, dial calipers, and optical comparators.

Prepare dies for cold heading and thread rolling with the help of shop support equipment.

Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and replace worn or broken tooling as needed.

Obtain correct job packets and access bill of materials from the shop floor computer.

Install and remove tooling from machines using appropriate hand tools.

Remove and replace wire stock from headers and draw new coiled wire using an in-line wire drawer.

Detect and report machine operation issues, material defects, and other discrepancies.

Maintain proper machine oil levels and keep the workplace tidy daily.

Complete necessary time, production, and quality reports.

Communicate with operators from other shifts to exchange pertinent information.

Observe all safety regulations and perform additional duties as required.

Essential Skills

Mechanical and technical skills are essential.

Previous manufacturing experience is required.

Proficiency in using micrometers, calipers, comparators, and gauges.

Ability to read and understand engineering specifications.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Doylestown, PA.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
