Client Details:

The Neuroscience Unit at of Baltimore is a 36-Bed Unit and is an essential part of The Joint Commission and the Maryland Institute for Emergency Medical Services certified Primary Stroke Center.

Job Description:

The Nurse Manager at Hospital of Baltimore is responsible for ensuring that safe, age-appropriate patient care is provided during hours of unit operation. Functions as role model, advisor, resource, and leader for other members of the patient care team.

Requirements:

Registered Nurse License

Current Maryland license or eligibility to obtain Maryland license

Basic Life Support and ACLS Certificate

NIHSS Certification within 90 days of hire

Education: Master’s Degree Preferred; Bachelors in Nursing – required

2 years of direct Neuro Nursing experience

3 years of experience in Hospital Nurse Management
