We are sharing a specialised remote opportunity for Bilingual Italian STEM Experts with backgrounds in Biology, Physics, or Chemistry. This role supports a leading AI research lab by helping design and evaluate complex STEM reasoning tasks used to train advanced AI models.

Experts will create and evaluate bilingual prompts in Italian and English, ensuring scientific accuracy while maintaining clear and natural Italian phrasing aligned with academic conventions used in Italy or Italian-speaking Switzerland.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop STEM reasoning prompts in Italian and English

Create complex scientific questions with structured constraints and clear instructions

Establish evaluation standards and detailed grading rubrics for STEM responses

Evaluate AI-generated outputs for scientific accuracy and reasoning quality

Compare Italian and English responses where needed

Support benchmarking and quality assurance for Italian-language AI evaluation tasks

Ideal Profile

Strong candidates may have:

Native-level written fluency in Italian (Italy or Italian-speaking Switzerland)

Strong English reading and writing proficiency

Bachelors degree in Biology, Physics, Chemistry, or related STEM fields

Familiarity with undergraduate-level STEM topics

Strong analytical writing and critical thinking skills

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Preferred qualifications:

2+ years of experience in teaching, research, or applied STEM disciplines

Familiarity with Italian or Swiss STEM education standards
