Description

Work Is Strong Right Now

Which means we’re growing.

For more than 80 years, Morton Industries has built a reputation for doing fabrication the right way — tube, sheet, and enclosure work that ends up in equipment used all over the world.

And the reason we keep growing is simple:

The people in the building.

We’re looking for the kind of people who take pride in doing things right.

If you’re hungry, humble, and smart, you’ll probably like it here.

Quick Question

Do you like working with machines?

Do you like taking raw material and turning it into something real?

Do you like being part of a team that actually backs each other up?

If that sounds like you, keep reading.

The Morton Way

These aren’t buzzwords here.

They’re how the place actually runs.

Integrity in Action

We do the right thing — even when nobody’s watching.

Focused on Team Success

No lone wolves here. We win together.

Driven to Deliver

When we commit to something, we follow through.

Consistent Progress

We’re always improving our people and our processes.

Professional Authenticity

Be yourself. Bring your strengths. Do excellent work.

If those values sound like you, you’ll fit right in.

What You’ll Actually Be Doing

As a Machine Operator, you’ll be running equipment that turns raw material into real parts used across industries.

Your day might include:

• Operating machines like mills, presses, saws, or other fabrication equipment

• Reading prints or job specs so parts are produced correctly

• Loading material and positioning parts for machining or processing

• Checking finished parts with measuring tools to make sure quality is right

• Removing burrs or imperfections so parts are ready for the next step

• Making small adjustments to machines to keep production running smoothly

• Performing basic machine care like oiling or tooling adjustments

• Counting, stacking, and preparing finished parts for the next stage

Some machines move fast.

Some require precision.

Either way, you’re part of the team that turns steel into finished parts that ship out into the world.

Who Thrives Here

Let’s keep it simple.

The people who do well at Morton tend to be:

Hungry

You want to work and keep getting better.

Humble

You take feedback well and work as part of a team.

Smart

You pay attention, learn quickly, and figure things out.

We can teach machines.

We can teach processes.

What we can’t teach is work ethic.

What You Get

If you’re going to work hard, you should be rewarded for it.

Here’s what comes with the job:

• $20–$28 per hour starting pay

• 15% shift premium

• Low-cost medical, dental, and vision insurance

• 401(k) with company match

• Paid holidays and paid time off

• Company-paid life insurance

• Short-term and long-term disability coverage

And a few things we’re especially proud of:

• Ramsay SmartDollar financial wellness program to help you take control of your money

• Real upward mobility — over 100 internal promotions in the past two years

• Clean, organized manufacturing facilities

• A team culture where people actually support each other

If you show up, work hard, and keep improving, there’s room to grow here.

A lot of people start in production and move into machine setup, leadership roles, or other opportunities across the company.

Not Sure If You're Qualified?

Apply anyway.

We hire for character first.

If you’re hungry, humble, and smart, we can teach the rest.

Join a Team That Builds Things the Right Way

Morton Industries operates five facilities across the United States and continues to grow because of our commitment to quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

The parts we build support equipment used across industries around the world.

But the real difference?

The people in the building.

If you’re ready to be part of that team, we’d love to meet you.
