Dental Assistant - Round Rock, TX

About the Role

We're seeking a Dental Assistant to support our client, a nationally recognized dental care brand, in Round Rock, TX. This short-term assignment offers the opportunity to provide excellent chairside support and patient care in a collaborative, team-based environment. You'll handle a broad range of clinical tasks while upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, and communication-gaining valuable experience along the way.

What You Bring

Required:

6+ months of hands-on experience as a Dental Assistant

Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)

Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification What You'll Do

Prepare treatment rooms and patients according to established protocols (welcome, seat, drape, comfort).

Assist chairside with instrument passing, suctioning, field isolation, and material setup/placement.

Manage sterilization and operatory turnover per infection-control standards.

Take and process dental radiographs; assist with impressions and model work.

Support provisional and appliance care (e.g., temporary restorations, polishing removable appliances).

Provide patient education on oral hygiene, plaque control, and post-op instructions.

Accurately chart and document treatment while maintaining HIPAA confidentiality.

Stay prepared for dental/medical emergencies; maintain active CPR/BLS certification and follow protocols.

Use equipment and supplies responsibly; keep operatories stocked and organized.
