Position Summary
The Inventory Analyst is responsible for auditing the programs and processes required to assess inventory needs. They will slot, train and develop team members in physical inventory processes and support inventory audits requested by the customer across multiple ODW sites.
Essential Responsibilities
Coordinate setup and monitoring of physical inventories, including team cooperation, discrepancy identifications and
issue reconciliations
Analyze inventory data and provide reports/recommendations to optimize inventory processes and placement
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements related to inventory management and support the customer’s inventory alignment
Ensure efficient use of space and inventory accuracy through adjustment reviews and cycle counting results
Cooperate with internal teams to support customer-required inventory audits
Develop and implement training for inventory-control procedures and sequence of operations within department to optimize workflow
Review weekly inventory trends and discuss variations with appropriate staff
Create and implement activities associated with product hold recalls and damage/disposal of surplus material or scrap products

Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business or logistics or equivalent education/work experience preferred
3+ years of inventory management experience in an order fulfillment (pick, pack, and ship) environment, with a 2,000+ SKU base preferred
Previous experience with web based B2C, B2B, and B2DC fulfillment and in-depth knowledge of parcel shipping requirements and programs preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools preferred
Previous experience with AS400 preferred Capabilities
