General Laborer: Amboy, Illinois (Temporary)

Our customer in Amboy, Illinois, is looking for a hardworking, detail-oriented individual to join their team as a General Laborer to work full-time on 1st shift. As a General Laborer, you’ll assist with sorting materials, preparing shipments, and supporting overall facility operations throughout the season.

Responsibilities of the General Laborer:

Sort, palletize, and shrinkwrap residential electronics including computers, TVs, printers, and stereo equipment

Load and unload materials and assist with preparing items for transport.

Pass written and driving tests to obtain employerprovided forklift certification.

Perform routine janitorial and facility cleaning tasks.

Complete general labor tasks and other duties as assigned.

General Laborer Requirements and Qualifications:

Valid State of Illinois driver’s license required.

Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.

Aptitude for forklift operation; no moving violations in the last year preferred.

Ability to follow instructions and work in a fastpaced environment.

Reliable, safetyconscious, and able to complete physical labor.

Pay for General Laborer: $17.00/hour.

Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday from 8:00am to 3:00pm with a 30minute unpaid lunch, and Wednesday from 8:00am to 12:00pm (30 hours per week).
