AWS Cloud Engineer

Job Description

ComResource is looking for an AWS Cloud Engineer.

We need someone to assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and scalable cloud infrastructure while supporting modernization initiatives and cloud migrations.

Responsibilities:

Design and manage AWS cloud infrastructure and networking solutions.

Deploy and maintain Amazon EKS clusters and containerized workloads.

Implement infrastructure automation using Terraform.

Design secure multi-tier VPC architectures and networking strategies.

Configure firewalls, security groups, and network security controls.

Implement monitoring, alerting, and operational tooling.

Support CI/CD and GitOps workflows using ArgoCD and GitHub.

Troubleshoot infrastructure and production issues.

Ensure compliance with security and regulatory frameworks.

Optimize cloud infrastructure costs and performance.

Essentials:

3–5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or SRE roles.

Strong experience with AWS services including EKS, EC2, VPC, and IAM.

Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.

Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform.

Strong networking and security knowledge.

Experience with monitoring tools such as CloudWatch.

Strong troubleshooting and automation skills.

Desired:

Experience with Palo Alto firewalls or Cisco Meraki devices.

Experience with GitOps workflows and ArgoCD.

Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOC2, HIPAA, or HITRUST.

Certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect or Terraform Associate.
