OTC Markets Group Inc., operator of premier US financial marketplaces, is seeking an AVP, Data Analyst to join our IT Infrastructure team. We’re seeking a Data Analyst who loves diving deep into data, crafting meaningful dashboards, and optimizing SQL like a pro. In this role, you won’t just build reports — you’ll shape how the business thinks, plans, and grows. Base compensation for this role is up to $100,000.00 annually, depending on experience. In addition, the position is eligible for our discretionary annual bonus and equity program.

What You’ll Do:

Explore, analyze, and document structured and unstructured data across multiple systems

Build effective BI dashboards, reports, and automated data feeds that empower decision-makers

Develop and optimize advanced SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions using (Window functions, CTE, Joins & Pivots)

Improve performance through query tuning and database optimization

Investigate and resolve data quality issues to ensure accuracy and reliability

Partner closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable insights

Deliver analytics that directly influence strategy and operational excellence

Additional responsibilities, as assigned.

What We’re Looking For:

4+ years of experience working with relational databases (one or more of the following: Informix, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL)

4+ years of experience with BI tools (one or more of the following: Jasper, AWS Quick Sight, Tableau, Power BI)

Strong experience in SQL query development and tuning

Hands-on experience with shell/python scripting and source code management tools such as GIT

Experience working with AI tools

Working knowledge of AWS services (RDS, Athena, S3)

Familiarity with columnar databases

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Bachelor’s degree in computer science and / or appropriate certifications
