A school psychologist opportunity is available for a licensed and certified professional with experience across elementary, middle, and high school levels. This contract position is located in Bennington, VT, providing an enriching environment to support the academic, social, and emotional development of students.
Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students to identify needs and challenges
Develop and implement individualized intervention plans to support student learning and wellbeing
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create supportive educational environments
Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed
Promote positive behavior supports and contribute to school-wide mental health initiatives
Maintain accurate records and comply with all legal and ethical standards related to school psychology
Qualifications:
Valid license as a School Psychologist
Certification appropriate for school-based psychological services
Experience working with elementary, middle, and high school students
Strong understanding of assessment tools, intervention strategies, and multi-tiered support systems
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work effectively within a school community and manage a diverse caseload
