Stepdown RN - Dawson, GA

An exciting opportunity is available for a registered nurse with experience in stepdown or progressive care units. This role is ideal for a skilled RN who thrives in fast-paced hospital environments and has a proven track record in patient care within a PCU/Stepdown setting.

Location: This position is based in Dawson, GA, a charming town known for its friendly community and Southern hospitality. Situated within a 75-mile radius requirement, candidates must reside within commuting distance, as verified by the address on their driver's license.

Qualifications and Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a stepdown or progressive care unit in a large hospital setting

Completion of at least one successful travel nursing assignment; no first-time travelers will be considered

Current and valid RN license

Strong clinical assessment and patient monitoring skills

Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities

Ability to manage complex patient care with attention to detail and adherence to protocols

Responsibilities:

Deliver patient-centered care to adult patients requiring intermediate monitoring and treatment

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement comprehensive care plans

Monitor patients' conditions closely and respond promptly to changes in status

Administer medications and treatments as ordered, ensuring safe and effective care

Educate patients and families regarding health management and discharge planning

Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital policies and procedures
