Responsibilities
Mix and apply urethane coatings to a nylon textile.
Monitors coating machine variables to maintain proper machine conditions.
Responsible for QC in-line inspection of coated rolls and proper tracking of defects.
Must understand Acceptance Criteria and all paperwork aspects of job
Must follow instructions from Supervisor.
Will be trained to perform all routine operations such as forms & paperwork completion
Handling of chemical mixes, roll flagging, knife cleaning, oven cleaning, Waste handling and storage.
Communicates all information to operators on the next shift.
Ensures that a safe, clean and healthy work environment is maintained at all times.
Job Type: Full time, onsite
Schedule: Monday - Friday 10:45pm - 7am
Compensation: Starting hourly rate of $26.00 an hour. A .50 an hour increase is given after 90 days of employment. A $3,000 retention bonus will be paid out in $1,000 increments at 90 days, 6 months, and 1 year.
Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous experience in a manufacturing setting preferred
• Reliable transportation required
• Pre-employment Physical, Drug & Background Screening required. We are a drug and tobacco free workplace.
Successful candidates will have strengths in the following:
• Proven work experience in a manufacturing setting
• Familiarity with the use fork trucks, pallet jacks, and other necessary warehouse equipment
• Solid communication skills
• Physical stamina and dexterity necessary for the work; ability to lift or move at least 40 lbs.
• Positive and team-work focused attitude. Must work well with others.
• Good attendance record
• Good communication skills & basic math required
• Attention to detail
• Must be able to read, write and speak basic English
• Individuals that pride themselves on being a great teammate
• Experience navigating computer systems (ie. Email, Order processing, etc)
