A position is available for a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in adult neuro, cognitive, and dysphagia patients. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and develop tailored treatment plans.
Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to create effective therapeutic goals.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation including case histories, reports, and progress notes.
Adhere to professional standards and departmental policies ensuring confidentiality, reliability, and professionalism.
Facilitate efficient service delivery through coordinated scheduling and active participation in quality reviews.
Engage in ongoing communication to support departmental and hospital objectives.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology is required.
Licensed to practice as an SLP in Texas, or holding an SLP Intern license with compliance to all requirements.
Certification from the American Speech and Hearing Association within one year of hire.
Basic computer proficiency including experience with electronic medical records (EPIC preferred).
BLS certification (AHA required).
Experience in outpatient therapy settings is preferred, especially with VitalStim and LSVT certifications.
