Skilled Nursing Facility Speech Therapy Assistant - Visalia

This opportunity offers a full-time contract position for a Skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) serving students in a school setting in Visalia, CA. The role runs from August 6, 2025, through June 5, 2026, with a 40-hour workweek. Daily start times vary by site, typically between 7:30 and 7:45 AM, with an 8-hour day.

Responsibilities include:

Conducting speech and language assessments to identify student needs

Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans

Providing SLPA services aligned with Individualized Education Program (IEP) guidelines

Managing an average caseload of 50 students, ranging from Pre-K to 5th grade

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field

Active SLPA license

Experience providing therapy services in school and healthcare settings preferred
