Part-Time Chess, Robotics, & Coding Teacher (K-12)

An educational institution located in the Naval Anacost Annex, DC area is seeking a part-time teacher specializing in Chess, Robotics, and Coding for students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade. Location and Schedule:

Work primarily takes place after school hours, with shifts typically from 3-4 pm, 4-5 pm, or 5-6 pm.

Commitment of 5-10 hours per week.

Position requires commuting to multiple campuses throughout Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia, with approximately 10 different locations.

Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and interactive lessons in Chess, Robotics, and Coding tailored to K-12 students.

Adapt teaching methods to suit various age groups and skill levels.

Encourage student participation and promote a positive learning environment.

Collaborate with school staff and administrators to coordinate schedules and curriculum.

Monitor student progress and provide feedback to enhance learning outcomes.

Qualifications:

Experience teaching general education in elementary, middle, or high school settings.

Strong knowledge and passion for Chess, Robotics, and Coding.

Ability to manage groups of students across a wide age range.

Reliable transportation for commuting to multiple campuses.
