Educational Interpreter - Benson, Arizona

This opportunity is for a Sign Language Interpreter to support a 5th-grade student in a school setting starting after winter break. This long-term contract position is based in Benson, AZ, providing consistent, meaningful support in an educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Facilitate effective communication between the student and classroom personnel using sign language interpretation

Assist the student in fully accessing classroom instruction and activities

Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure communication needs are met

Maintain confidentiality and follow school policies and procedures

Qualifications:

Proficiency in sign language interpretation relevant to educational settings

Experience working with children, preferably in schools

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
