Retail Mail Order Pharmacy Tech Canal Winchester, Ohio

A pharmacy technician role is available to provide full-time support in a retail pharmacy setting. This position is a contract opportunity lasting approximately eight weeks, with an urgent start to cover for a staff member currently unavailable due to injury.

Location:

Canal Winchester, OH area (approximately 1 hour south of Columbus)

Schedule:

Full time, Monday through Friday

9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (40 hours per week)

Responsibilities:

Order entry and prescription fulfillment

Verifying prescriptions accurately

Assisting with phone inquiries and customer service

Supporting pharmacist and overall workflow

Qualifications and Experience:

Valid Ohio Pharmacy Technician license preferred

Experience in retail pharmacy or similar environments

Familiarity with long-term care, mail order, and retail pharmacy workflows

Knowledge of pharmacy systems such as PioneerRX is a plus but not mandatory

Willingness to work as a local hire or travel for assignment

Work Environment:

Small team setting with one technician and one pharmacist

Average prescription volume of approximately 130 per day
