Rad/X-Ray Tech Millinocket, Maine

An opportunity is available for a skilled Radiologic Technologist with CT experience to support a critical access hospital serving the Lincoln, Maine area. This 13-week contract role offers a guaranteed 40-hour workweek within a facility that provides both outpatient and inpatient imaging services. The position requires flexibility with four variable weekday shifts Monday through Friday. Weekend work may occasionally be requested for vacation coverage.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Valid Maine Radiologic Technologist license or eligibility to obtain one prior to start

Dual modality expertise in Radiology and CT required

Mammography experience is a valuable additional skill

Compliance with all immunization requirements before beginning assignment

Responsibilities:

Perform diagnostic imaging examinations utilizing Radiology and CT technology for outpatient and inpatient cases

Ensure patient safety and comfort while maintaining high standards for image quality and accuracy

Collaborate closely with healthcare team members to facilitate timely and effective patient care

Adhere strictly to hospital protocols and safety regulations

Additional Details:

40 hours guaranteed per week

Four variable shifts Monday through Friday, no routine weekends except occasional vacation coverage

The facility reserves the right to cancel up to three shifts within the 12-week assignment
