Registered Nurse IR - Elkview, West Virginia

An opportunity is available for a skilled Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse to provide expert patient care in a dynamic hospital environment. This contract position involves working 4x10-hour weekday shifts from 07:30 to 16:00, with on-call responsibilities every fifth weekend. Ideal candidates will have at least two years of RN experience, including specific expertise in interventional radiology procedures.

Qualifications & Desired Experience

Minimum of 2 years registered nursing experience, preferably in interventional radiology

Current RN license with verification (WV RDCS - Adult license active required at the start)

Certifications: BLS and ACLS mandatory

Experience with angiogram, fistulogram, permacath, EVAR, TCAR, TAVR, MitraClip, mechanical thrombectomy, and embolization procedures

Ability to manage adult and geriatric patient populations

Must comply with facility requirements regarding immunizations and licensure

Ability to participate in on-call rotation, including every fifth weekend

Responsibilities

Provide 1:1 patient care during interventional radiology procedures

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a Level IV Trauma Center setting

Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Cerner electronic charting

Adhere to facility protocols and patient safety standards
