Job Description
The Construction Superintendent will be responsible for:
Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, architects, and engineers regarding daily construction operations.
Develop and execute comprehensive project schedules, identify the critical path, and expedite key materials and equipment to ensure on-time delivery.
Review and address subcontractor schedule delays and productivity impact claims.
Oversee and make decisions related to scheduling, logistics, delivery, quality control, and trade workforce levels.
Track and document field issues affecting budget, quality, or schedule, and prepare RFIs to clarify drawings and specifications as needed.
Coordinate all trades to maintain smooth project operations and resolve issues related to sequencing, design clarifications, labor, equipment, and scheduling.
Verify that all required permits and insurance documentation are secured and maintained throughout the project.
Support management of General Conditions to help control and maintain the project budget.
Ensure all work is completed in accordance with approved contract documents and quality standards.

The Successful Applicant
The successful Superintendent Applicant will have:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in building construction required
Comprehensive knowledge of general and subcontract documents, drawings, specifications, construction methods, materials, and line/grade survey techniques
Light industrial construction experience is a plus, but not mandatory
Proficient in using Procore
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Understanding of construction cost control and basic accounting principles; proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Strong leadership, management, and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively develop and mentor employees
Completion of OSHA 30-hour training course
Capable of assigning and guiding employees through challenging projects with appropriate support
Work performed both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow, etc.)
Occasionally required to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 pounds
Must possess a valid driver's license and insurance

Competitive base salary plus performance-based bonus ranging from $100,000-$130,000, depending on experience
