HVAC CTE Instructor, part-time (.2 to .4 FTE)

Location: Lakeshore High School, Lakeshore Public Schools, Stevensville, MI 49127

Qualifications:

Required:

Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with Industrial Technology (IX) Endorsement

- OR - relevant HVAC experience (4,000 hours in the last 10 years) with relevant HVAC credentials (EPA 608 Universal Certification)

Ability to market and sustain programs

Ability to organize an effective business advisory group

Proficient in planning and executing units and daily plans

Focus on safety

High level communication skills

Highly organized and flexible

Computer literate

Student-centered

Preferred:

Desire to teach in a state of the art HVAC-R facility in a highly performing district

Successful high school teaching or student teaching experience in HVAC-R
