A challenging opportunity is available for a skilled Vascular Sonographer with expertise in cardiac and vascular imaging, including echo techniques. This contract position is based in Apex, NC, and offers a 13-week assignment with a 12-hour day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Candidates with extensive experience, particularly in pediatric sonography, will thrive in this role.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
ARDMS RVT (vascular) or RDCS (echo) certification required
AHA BLS certification mandatory
Extensive experience in cardiac and vascular sonography, including pediatric cases
EPIC charting experience strongly preferred
Resilient, adaptable to change, socially engaging professional demeanor
Travel experience highly preferred, with no radius restrictions

Responsibilities:
Perform vascular and cardiac sonographic imaging accurately and efficiently
Maintain compliance with professional standards and infection control policies
Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide high-quality patient care
Adapt to varying unit needs and float between like units as required
Participate in rotating weekend and holiday shifts; no on-call duties
Work Schedule:
12-hour day shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM
Rotating weekends and holiday coverage
Guaranteed 36 hours per week, except during orientation or unit closure
