Special Ed Teacher - Twisp, Washington

An opportunity is available for a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support K-12 students in a full-time, in-person role based in Twisp, WA. This position is a contracted assignment for the current school year, with openings anticipated to begin in the 2026-2027 school year.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to the unique needs of students with disabilities.

Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success.

Utilize various instructional strategies and assistive technologies to enhance learning experiences.

Monitor student progress and adjust instructional methods accordingly.

Maintain accurate records and communicate regularly with stakeholders regarding student development.

Desired Qualifications:

Valid Special Education teaching certification.

Experience working with K-12 students in special education settings.

Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations related to special education.

Ability to foster inclusive classroom environments and promote positive behavioral support.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
