Position Summary: The purpose of this position is to lead and direct line personnel under guidance from the Manufacturing Coordinator.
Position Duties and Responsibilities: * Assist with and oversee Rotations and Training to the SOP for Production Associates to ensure effective and efficient line start-up, quality products to the customer, smooth production, minimal scrap and rejects.
* Assist Production Coordinator, and Quality Tech with daily activities (Rework, 6S, Dock Sorts, MRB, Scrap, and documentation). * Review Scrap Trends and determine countermeasures to reduce (re-training, part-handling, process change). * Complete/Confirm reworks and take immediate appropriate action (assign re-training, notify molding / quality, request support from Engineering, etc.). * Keep the assembly line running with immediate actions (station assignment, engineering / IT support requests, notification to MO / QC with part issues, request to coordinator when needed, cover bathroom breaks and absence relief as needed.

* Provide strong leadership to the Production Associates (Fulltime or Contingent). * Professionally interact with various levels of associates.
* Improve manufacturing proficiency levels to meet plant goals and objectives.
* Maintain knowledge of all processes, procedures, and equipment within Manufacturing.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization as needed.
Education and Experience: * High School Diploma and GED * Minimum of 2 years of related work experience * Basic computer skills * Knowledge of Inmani and Astemo systems * Manufacturing process knowledge of Intake Manifold Supervisory Responsibilities: * Will not supervise associates.
