Responsibilities of the Controller

• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements

• Maintain and enhance internal controls to ensure accuracy and compliance

• Manage cash flow and provide financial insights to support leadership decisions

• Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team

• Oversee the annual budgeting process and support audit preparation

• Communicate financial results and complex information to senior executives and board members

Experience Preferred for the Controller Role

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required

• Minimum of 5+ years of accounting experience, ideally in a leadership role

• Strong understanding of GAAP, audits, and process improvement

• Excellent leadership and communication skills

• Ability to translate financial data into clear, actionable insights

• Detail oriented, collaborative, and prepared to take full ownership of the finance function

Salary: $80,000 to $95,000
