Our client is seeking a Senior AI Engineer with hands-on Palantir experience and strong API knowledge to deliver production-grade AI capabilities at scale. In this fully remote U.S. role, you'll partner with product, data, and platform teams to build models, services, and integrations that power decisioning and analytics-ideally with an understanding of healthcare data and compliance.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and deploy AI/ML solutions and decisioning services for real-world use cases.

Integrate models and data products within Palantir (e.g., Foundry) and connect to downstream systems via secure APIs.

Develop, harden, and support RESTful APIs/microservices for model inference, data access, and orchestration.

Productionize models (feature pipelines, inference endpoints, monitoring, drift detection, observability).

Collaborate with data engineering to define data contracts, ensure data quality, and optimize performance.

Implement CI/CD and MLOps best practices for reliable releases and reproducibility.

Document architectures, interfaces, and runbooks; support on-call rotations for critical AI services.

Partner with clinical/operations stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions (healthcare experience preferred). Qualifications

5+ years of software/data/ML engineering experience delivering production systems.

Demonstrated experience with Palantir (e.g., Foundry pipelines, ontology, operational decisioning, or integration patterns).

Strong API engineering and microservices experience (REST/JSON, auth, rate limiting, observability).

Proficiency in Python (or similar) for model serving, data pipelines, and service development.

Experience with model lifecycle management and monitoring (MLOps).

Cloud experience (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerization (Docker; Kubernetes a plus).

Prior experience in Healthcare is preferred.

Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration in a remote environment. What Our Client Offers

Impactful, production-facing AI work with modern platforms including Palantir.

Remote-first culture across the U.S. with strong collaboration and autonomy.

Time and tooling for experimentation, testing, and continuous improvement.

Competitive compensation, benefits, and professional development support.
