Description:

The Executive Host generates incremental gaming revenue by cultivating relationships with premium level players. The Executive Host provides the Casino’s most valued players with personalized guest service to build player loyalty and increase rated play.

Responsibilities

Responsible for managing and increasing rated slot and table games play.

Responsible to meet revenue goals set forth by the Casino.

Responsible for providing optimal guest service to assigned players on and off property.

Responsible for maintaining reinvestment thresholds set for by the Casino.

Communicates with premium/rated players through verbal and written communication, regarding available services, promotional opportunities, and special events.

Responds to Black, Diamond, Platinum & Gold card notifications as well as high-end unassigned player notifications.

Works with Promotions, Direct Marketing, and other departments to ensure the success of premium slot, table games, and VIP promotions.

Calculates guest rated play and worth through system generated analysis and reports.

Answers questions about THE CLUB at Chumash, rewards, promotions, casino directions, etc.

Responds to situations regarding disgruntled guests and uses communication skills to diffuse possible confrontations.

Works promotions, events, and special activities.

Issues THE CLUB at Chumash Cards, explaining all the rewards and benefits.

Assists guests with entertainment, hotel, Spa, and Willows restaurant reservations.

Issues redemptions to guests as needed.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED Certificate.

Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, Marketing or equivalent work experience.

Five years of prior host or guest service experience in hospitality or gaming industry.

Experience with Oasis Applications and Opera preferred.

Willingness to work flexible schedules in a 24/7 work environment, including holidays, nights, and weekends.

Intermediate computer proficiency utilizing Microsoft applications, email, and internet.

Must apply for, receive, and maintain a Gaming License from the Tribal Gaming Agency.

Native American hiring preference applies.
