An AmLaw 100 law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its Construction Litigation practice in Columbus.

This opportunity is ideal for a litigation associate interested in working on construction-related disputes and complex commercial litigation matters while collaborating closely with partners and litigation teams in a fast-paced practice.The Role

The associate will work with partners and litigation teams on construction litigation matters, including managing discovery, drafting and arguing motions, and conducting legal research and writing. The role involves handling disputes involving construction projects, contracts, liens, and related claims.

Associates will gain exposure to state and federal court litigation, with opportunities to take on increasing responsibility in case management and litigation strategy.

Arbitration experience and familiarity with liens and bonds are a plus but not required.Ideal Background

• 2+ years of construction litigation experience

• Experience with discovery management, motion practice, and legal research and writing

• Experience practicing in state and federal courts

• Exposure to construction disputes, liens, or bonds preferred

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

• Licensed to practice law and in good standing with the Ohio State Bar

• Strong analytical, research, writing, and communication skillsWhy This Opportunity
