Production Supervisor

Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a dedicated Production Supervisor to join their team. As a Production Supervisor, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting the plant operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, excellent problem-solving skills, and effective communication, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Production Supervisor

Location: Columbus, OH

Pay Range: $70,000 - $85,000

What's the Job?

Oversee and maintain safety, quality, and production standards within the assigned department

Ensure proper staffing requirements are met and enforce all safety practices

Prepare daily efficiency reports and monitor key performance indicators to meet or exceed targets

Verify compliance with HACCP documents and monitor GMPs to uphold food safety standards

Apply BRC principles and relevant training to team members to ensure standards are maintained

What's Needed?

Minimum of 5 years of experience in food processing, with familiarity in USDA and HACCP standards

Bachelor's Degree in Meat/Agriculture Science, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred)

Strong leadership qualities with the ability to make quick and sound decisions

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills

Knowledge of lock out/tag out procedures, GMPs, safety standards, and global standards such as BRC
