Sween is an Equal Opportunity Employer – Minority/Female/Veteran/Disability\n What We’re Seeking \n A skilled maintenance technician that will support all production equipment and production lines, while adhering to all safety standards.\n What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)\n\n Safety\n\n\nDemonstrate a solid understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) in various plant areas, including equipment and tool handling.\nAssist in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workspace.\nFollow all safety rules and plant procedures.\nWear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): cut-resistant gloves, hard hats (in Production), safety glasses, or task-specific protective gear.\nComplete mandatory E.A.

Sween quarterly safety training.\n\n\n Maintenance Line Technician\n\n\nManage time effectively and perform self-directed work.\nBuild documentation for in-house designs or training.\nProgram VFDs and troubleshoot PLC logic.\nTrain and assist Line Technicians on production equipment; engage in knowledge sharing.\nProvide backup support for Production Support Technicians, including equipment setup, teardown, and changeovers.\nCollaborate with vendors to improve or identify process improvements.\nTroubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic equipment:\n\nMechanical: Use basic hand tools, identify and fix mechanical issues, perform repairs efficiently.\nElectrical: Use a meter for high-level troubleshooting, replace/program electrical components, read and follow schematics.\nPneumatic: Read and interpret pneumatic schematics, troubleshoot components effectively.\n\nUse shop equipment (mill, lathe, drill press, band saws, welder, hydraulic presses).\nHelp build PM procedures and complete work orders in CMMS.\nFollow the Maintenance Planning Process, including validating PM Job Plans and creating Work Orders in Asset Essentials.\nFollow the Parts Process (storeroom layout, parts checkout, requests in Asset Essentials).\nUse technology tools to communicate and maintain line availability.\nMaintain good attendance, GMP, and safety records.\n\n\n Quality\n\n\nUnderstand SQF Level 3 (Food Safety & Quality), regulatory/customer requirements, and HACCP plans.\nEnsure food safety and quality through proper GMPs.\nReport any questionable products to QA, Supervisor, or QC.\n\n\n Teamwork\n\n\nSupport the Spirit of E.A.
