Job Description Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required.

A rewarding opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist within a high behavioral setting.

This full-time contract position is located in Columbus, GA, serving students in a school environment until May 21st, 2026.

The role requires a professional who is confident and experienced in working with challenging behavioral caseloads.

Responsibilities:Assist the Speech-Language Pathologist in delivering effective speech and language services.Facilitate therapy sessions under supervision tailored to students with behavioral needs.Manage and support a caseload within a high behavioral classroom setting, ensuring a positive and productive environment.Document and report student progress accurately in compliance with school and state guidelines.Collaborate with educators and other professionals to meet individual student goals.

Qualifications and Experience:Valid SLPA license is required.Proven experience working within behavioral settings or with children who have behavioral challenges.Strong communication skills and the ability to remain patient and supportive in demanding situations.Ability to implement therapeutic strategies under the supervision of the SLP.Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professional standards.
