Heating Air Conditioning Technician

We are seeking a full-time Journeyman HVAC Technician to join our team in Waltham, MA.

This is an on-site position that plays a critical role in supporting the installation, maintenance, and service of advanced HVAC systems across a variety of commercial and institutional applications.

The Journeyman HVAC Technician will be responsible for:Installing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems and related equipmentDiagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving system issues efficiently and accuratelyPerforming scheduled maintenance and system performance testingEnsuring all work complies with state and local codes, manufacturer specifications, and safety standardsConducting quality control inspections to verify system performance and reliabilityCollaborating with team members, contractors, and customers to deliver projects on time and to specificationProviding exceptional customer service and maintaining strong relationships with clientsDocumenting all service work, findings, and recommendations clearly and professionally This role offers an excellent opportunity to work with cutting-edge HVAC technology while representing premium manufacturers in the market.

QualificationsProven experience installing, servicing, and maintaining commercial or residential HVAC systemsStrong knowledge of HVAC principles, refrigeration cycles, and control systemsDemonstrated skill in diagnosing and troubleshooting complex HVAC system issuesFamiliarity with state and local HVAC codes, safety regulations, and compliance standardsAbility to perform preventive maintenance and conduct detailed quality control inspectionsStrong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skillsExcellent customer service and communication abilitiesCurrent Journeyman HVAC Technician license (required)EPA certification and additional manufacturer or technical training (preferred)High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary technical education or trade school certificate a plusAbility to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment
