Location: Hayesville, NC 28904

Assignment Duration: Permanent

Open to Local & Travel Candidates

Position Highlights:

Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Guaranteed Hours: 35 hours per week

Pay Rate: $28 -$35/hr

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in carrying out individualized treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist.

Provide therapeutic interventions to improve patients' ability to perform daily activities.

Document patient progress and report changes to the Occupational Therapist.

Collaborate with the OT, interdisciplinary team, patients, and families to ensure effective care.

Educate patients and caregivers on techniques to enhance daily living and mobility.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with facility and regulatory standards.

Participate in team meetings, in-service training, and continuous education programs.

Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.

Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license.

Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.

Minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical experience (new grads welcome).

Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
