Location: Columbus, OH Compensation: $70,000 - $100,000 (Commensurate with experience)

The Role

As an Assessment Recovery Attorney, you will play a vital role in representing homeowners associations (HOAs) and condominium associations. Your primary focus will be the recovery of delinquent assessments and fees, ensuring these communities remain financially stable and functional.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage a high-volume caseload involving the recovery of delinquent HOA and COA assessments.

Represent associations in legal proceedings related to creditor-side collections.

Navigate bankruptcy filings and their impact on assessment recovery.

Collaborate with a supportive internal team to deliver exceptional service to community boards.

Qualifications

Experience: 1+ years of legal practice.

Preferred Background: Direct experience in HOA/Condo assessment recovery is a plus. We also welcome candidates with backgrounds in creditor-side collections or bankruptcy law.

Licensure: Must be licensed to practice law in Ohio (or have the immediate ability to become licensed).
