This is Full-time (approximately 40 hours/week) Float cashier position - working between our Caledonia, Rushford and La Crescent locations.
This position would be a Monday - Friday position, with occasional Saturday shifts.

Qualifications:
Required:
The desire to help people and listen to their needs
High School Diploma or equivalent GED required
Preferred:
Previous Pharmacy experience
Position Summary: The Pharmacy Cashier is responsible for assisting with all day-to-day customer service and reporting to the manager on duty. They will also be responsible for traveling to our SE locations in Caledonia, Rushford and La Crescent.

Help with answer telephone within three rings

Understands the customers' needs are the #1 priority above anything else
Completes cash transactions accurately and according to company procedures
Assists pharmacy staff with checking orders and invoices, marking and putting away merchandise in the proper location
Assists customers with locating items on sale floor
Answers customer questions or directs them to proper person who can answer question correctly
Assists or places filled prescriptions in proper location
Cleans shelves and inventory neatly
Assist in checking inventory for out-of-date product
Assists in preparing for daily deliveries
Answers phones and forwards calls to proper individuals
Assists in pharmacy workflow if required by pharmacy staff
Assists and receives new prescriptions physically from patients
Work the drive-up window as needed, if applicable
Understands and adheres to HIPPA compliance policies
Participate and engage with weekly/daily touchpoint meetings then follow through on what was discussed
Engage with customers on all marketing material instructed by corporate
Performs assigned duties requested by either Pharmacy Manager or Store Manager

Physical Requirements & Work Demands:
The ability to work up to 40 hours per week
The ability to maintain a flexible schedule including early morning, evening, and weekend hours if required by workflow
In a typical 8-hour day lift or carry up to 25 pounds
In a typical day stand up to 8 hours
In a typical 8-hour day spend up to 2 hours on telephone
Travel to our SE locations.

This position will be working in a pharmacy setting
This position will be standing and walking position for up to 8 hours per day
