Our client, a leading organization in the facilities management sector, is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to join their team.
As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the maintenance support team supporting building operations and ensuring a safe, secure, and well-maintained environment.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Facilities Maintenance Technician **Location:** Asheville, OH **Pay:** $34/hr.
**Shift:** Monday to Friday.
1st and 2nd shift available.
**What's the Job?** + Monitor the facility to ensure safety, security, and proper maintenance + Troubleshoot power, HVAC systems, controls, and mechanical systems + Perform general and preventative maintenance, including carpentry, plumbing, and vendor management + Replace lighting bulbs and ballasts as needed + Assist with moving office furniture, machinery, equipment, and materials as requested **What's Needed?** + High school diploma or GED required.
+ 5-7 years of relevant experience in facilities maintenance.
+ Basic knowledge of machines and tools, including their design, use, repair, and maintenance.
+ Maintain general & preventative maintenance, carpentry, plumbing systems, and vendor management.
+ Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
