Job Description
Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) degree, active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license, and 1+ years Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Contract Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) opportunity is available serving K-12 students within a school district located in LaBelle, FL. This role involves providing therapeutic support to students across both sides of the county, requiring comfort with travel throughout the entire area as school site assignments will be updated during the summer.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy services to students with diverse needs in a K-12 educational setting.
Implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with therapists, educators, and families.
Travel across the county to service multiple school sites as assigned.
Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school policies.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student success plans.
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license.
Experience working in school-based therapy settings preferred.
Ability to travel extensively within the county during school days.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Commitment to supporting students functional development in educational environments.
Location:
LaBelle, Florida covering all school sites within the county.
